Snapshot

Snapshot is an app that uses visual recognition to analyze images for nutritional data. This app is intended for whose who are interested in finding out nutrition facts about food and to keep a record of the food items that were analyzed. The user has the option of uploading an image from their photo library or to use the device's camera to capture an image. It was built using JavaScript with the Cordova and Ionic 4 frameworks, in addition to IBM Watson's Visual Recognition and Nutritionix APIs to process and return nutritional data from an image.

This project was inspired by the "Not Hotdog" app from Silicon Valley.
